Help offset Nashua High School South's paper usage by requesting a tree to be planted in your yard
Our Goals
Tree-Duce, Tree-Use, Tree-Cycle
We are students from Nashua High School South, and on April 17th, we are hosting a Tree-Plenish event where volunteers will attempt to plant around 275 trees to compensate for our school’s approximate paper usage, because we believe that it is important to restore the environment in our community by compensating for our past actions that negatively impacted the environment.
We believe that compensating for the approximate amount of paper that our school uses is a great way to start our environmental restoration efforts and also an ideal plan to get our classmates involved in making Nashua more sustainable. Maybe you’ve had trees taken down in your yard before due to construction, and now you want to replace those lost trees to do something beneficial for the environment. There are three different trees available to promote biodiversity and each tree costs $5.
