Our Goals
Tree-Duce, Tree-Use, Tree-Cycle
New Canan High school’s (NCHS) National Honors society and WE Club have partnered together to work with Tree plenish. The National Honors Society is a group of driven individuals who care about community service. WE Club is a club at NCHS whose mission is to enact local and global changes in our communities and beyond. When WE club heard about Tree-Plenish and the work they do, we were so excited to start a partnership, and even more eager to extend this opportunity to do good to the National Honors Society. We are a group of teens passionate about environmental issues and the climate cause. Our goal is to increase sustainability among New Canaan High School’s community. We will host an event in April during which we will color New Canaan with the vibrance of over 275 young trees: the reds of Red Maple trees, the pinks of Eastern Red Buds, and the yellows of Silver Maples. We hope you will join us in preserving and protecting our community’s environment!
