Climbing Into The Treehouse
Updated: Nov 1, 2020

Tree-Plenish is a 501(c)(3) non-profit founded by Sethu Odayappan and Lizzy Elsner, students from Harvard University and University of Vermont Honors College, with the purpose of building sustainable communities by leveraging the power of youth. Trees are an essential part of our environment and it is up to our generation to preserve them.Â
At Tree-Plenish, we envision a sustainable world fueled by youth leaders and engaged communities. We partner with high school students and environmental clubs to plan tree-planting events that make up for their school’s paper usage.
This blog, entitled The Treehouse, will be a space for youth to voice their thoughts about events they are involved in, the environment, or their vision for Tree-Plenish. Looking ahead, as events start to happen during the 2020-2021 school year, The Treehouse will be a place for student leaders to tell the rest of the community about their preparation for events and their thoughts on the final product. Pieces of these blogs will be used in social media posts in order to market the organization and encourage other schools to have events.Â
It will take a team effort to hold The Treehouse to the high standard all Tree-Plenish products are held to. If you would like to submit a piece to the blog, please email team@tree-plenish.com.
